Data Management System for the Pharmaceutical Industry

A provider of clinical trial management services commissioned by one the world’s largest pharmaceutical trial needed to solve a very unusual logistical problem using off-the-shelf commodity hardware.

Action: MBR IT developed a system that would allow the organisation to define the structure of the personnel involved in the trial, and created tools to run on standard PC hardware to collect information from trial subjects in the field. All information fed back into existing systems that the customer had for analysing and reporting on the data.

Results: The new solution has made it possible to create a powerful and dynamic system that allows for a geographically dispersed group of people with highly diverse skills to share a large quantity of information in a way that was totally secure and adhered to international standards and regulations.
