A timber garden products manufacturer had grown to the point that their ordering system couldn’t cope anymore, meaning they were drowning in paperwork and struggling with delivery lead times. They needed a better way to handle the volume of orders, ensure a better, speedier delivery, reduce paperwork and improve tracking and accountability.

Action: MBR IT rationalised the resource management / order processing system already in place to improve functionality and enable it to cope with even greater order volumes in future. We also integrated additional tools to channel orders from their existing systems in to one main ‘pipeline’ to provide them with more control and visibility.

Results: The new solution has reduced paperwork, cut delivery times, increased delivery success rate, streamlined performance, enables product availability calculations to be made and delivery dates from customer postcodes, improved seasonal demand logistic handling, created capacity for future growth in the business with improved accountability and tracking.
